The heart of any home cinema system, the Q 3090Ci has been developed to compliment the 3000i series perfectly, bringing crisp and clear dialogue and onscreen sound to life, using the latest technological enhancements applied to the full 3000i series.
The Q 3090Ci boasts twin 100mm (4”) and 22mm (0.9”) precision drivers delivering the ultimate cinematic experience. You will hear every precise detail; every note, every word at its very best. The Q 3090Ci incorporates the same technology used across the rest of the 3000i range including P2P bracing and brand new high frequency drivers ensuring it complements the rest of the series, perfectly.
With the new high frequency driver unit, the Q 3090Ci benefits from a decoupled tweeter which ensures the vibrations from the woofer, which can impair the performance of the tweeter, are isolated allowing the tweeter to perform with dramatically reduced interference, resulting in a purer sound. The all new mid/bass drive unit boasts a precision formed cone from impregnated and coated paper and teamed with a newly developed, low-hysteresis, rubber surround also contributing to unwanted resonances.
The 3090Ci is the same width as most Amplifiers and AV Receivers so will fit attractively into the specialist furniture designed to house them. The conventional terminal panel cut-outs have been removed, giving greatly improved structural integrity to the enclosures and new low profile binding posts have been incorporated with sockets deep enough to accept 4mm (0.16 in) Banana Plugs.
Not only does the entire 3000i range features all new enclosure aesthetics but it also offers 4 new contemporary finishes. The new 3000i series speakers are available in four standard finishes; Graphite Grey, English Walnut, Carbon Black or Arctic White. All are finished with an attractive chrome bezel around each driver and feature magnetic speaker grilles.
Our most affordable range consists of the 3010i bookshelf, 3020i and 3030i standmount models, 3050i floorstander, with the 3090i centre channel and 3060S slimline subwoofer completing the line-up for a 5.1 home cinema set-up.
Explore the SeriesThe 3000i series features acoustic and cabinet technologies first introduced in our high-end flagship floorstanding loudspeaker, the Concept 500. Every model in the range benefits from these ground-breaking innovations.
Explore the SeriesEvery model in the range features elegantly curved cabinetry and is available in a choice of Carbon Black, Arctic White, Graphite Grey and English Walnut finishes. These veneers are complemented by chrome-finish bezels and magnetic grilles.
Explore the SeriesThe 3060S is a much slimmer and more discreet subwoofer than the norm, but thanks to its powerful 150-watt amplifier and high-performance 200mm bass driver it can generate all the low-frequency presence a home cinema system demands. And its tidy dimensions and choice of four finishes means it looks much more discreet than it sounds.
Explore the SeriesQ Acoustics P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing technology is used throughout the 3000i series - it supports the parts of the cabinet that need to be stiffened, making the new enclosures exceptionally rigid. This improves the focus of the stereo image and gives the soundstage more accuracy than ever before.
The 3000i tweeter unit is mechanically isolated from the baffle via a compliant suspension system to prevent internal pressure modulations from within the cabinet and from the adjacent mid/bass driver - this allows the high-frequency driver to perform with dramatically reduced interference compared to more traditional designs.
Every 3000i model is fitted with precision-formed mid/bass drivers made from a combination of impregnated and coated paper with a newly developed, low-hysteresis rubber surround. The coated paper cone provides the optimum balance between stiffness and self-damping, which means it can accelerate without flexing and stop very accurately without unwanted resonance.
The 3050i, like all floorstanding loudspeakers, is vulnerable to internal build-up of pressure that causes both unwanted standing waves and colouration. To prevent this occurring, specially designed HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser™) tubes are fitted inside the cabinet to nullify internal pressure and improve frequency response.
