Q ACTIVE RELEASES
The first products released in the Q Active family are the Q Active 200 standmount speaker and Q Active 400 floodstanding speaker in their Google configuration. Both are available in Black and White matte finishes along with the new Q Active 200-compatible Tensegrity-inspired stand, the Q FS75. The next to launch will be Alexa versions of both the Q Active 200 and 400 in early 2022. Anyone wanting to change between Google and Alexa in the future can do this simply by replacing the Hub.
ROON READY
The Q Active range is now Roon Ready. All Q Active systems will update automatically and once you have a subscription to Roon you can enjoy the innovative features of this multi-music platform. Q ACTIVE APP
The free Android and iOS Q Active app allows simple control and custom settings, such as:
- Playback control of the system such as volume, play, pause, skip track
- Displays what is currently playing by artist, album, track name and cover art
- Enable or disable the source inputs
- Set custom turn on volume for each source input
- Set automatic source switching, turn on and automatic standby settings
- Enable or disable notification/alert sounds
- Set hub front panel LEDs to switch off after 20 seconds
- Select Wi-Fi band
- Rename the speaker
- Register your product
- Receive over-the-air firmware updates
- Support and set-up help guides including how to videos and FAQs
There is no requirement to use the app setting up Q Active with Google. It is also designed to configure the coming soon Alexa version of Q Active to join Wi-Fi and login to an Alexa account.

Answer to popular questions
To re-pair the remote:
Step 1. – Press ‘NET’ and the ‘LINK’ button together and hold for 6s – this will clear the pairing memory of the remote (the link button looks like two rectangles linked together), when successful, the 'Remote' LED on the hub will begin to flash, move to step 3. If not, move to step 2.
Step 2. – Press and hold the ‘REMOTE’ button on the hub, it should start flashing
Step 3. – Press and hold the ‘LINK’ button on the remote until the LED on the hub is ON
